Seat Problem With Is 220d

iam currently having problems with the front seats of my is 220d, the seat base moves up and down when you stop and start or go over a bump, its been into the dealers twice but without the problem being resolved, its back in next week for a couple of days to try to find the cause.

i have been told by the lexus centre that iam not the first for this to happen to and the problem occurs around 10,000 miles, they dont know if its a design issue with the seats or a manufacturing fault,

anybody else had or having this problem?

Not a lot of help I know but mine doesn't do this so it's not a normal 'feature'

Electric or manual adjustment?

Mines an SE with 13000 and seat is better than ever!

its a manual seat, there are no bolts ect to tighten up so they believe its a design fault so far

I have 06 220d (Base) 38,000 on the clock and the drivers seat would move on moving away from stationary. Lexus Bristol sorted it when I had the 5th Injector done by replacing the frame. Its as solid as a rock now!
