Fog To Brakelight Covnersion And Mot

Recommended Posts

Got my MOT next week and it occurred to me that as the Fog to brake light conversion isn't legal, it might get picked up by the MOT test and result in a fail. I've also got HIDs fitted in the headlamps, but I'm confident that that won't cause a fail.

Has anyone failed due to the Fog to brake light conversion? What do you think? Best to be on the safe side and disable it for the MOT?

Cheers

Simon

I once read somewhere you're not supposed to have more than 5 brake lights but from what I was told (probably on here) I think it's fine so you've no worries - like the guys I passed with mine fitted at various places and I've got the fog to sidelight conversion done on the Aristo now - well Pete had already done it before I got the car :)
