3rd Gear Popping Out

Recommended Posts

Hi there - driving along this morning in 3rd gear and twice within a mile or so, gear stick 'popped out' of 3rd gear into neutral.

Anyone had this problem before or heard of similar?

Pretty sure the gear was engaged properly and I was not riding the clutch or similar

Been OK since but was mainly on motorway in 5th - 3rd gear appears only one affected........

Cheers for any advice

Some of the manuals do have notchy 'box's - maybe yours can be ajdusted (might not be a mechanical fault)
