I am tempted by the Gold badging, especially as this would match well with the colour of my GS. However, I can't help wondering how attractive they are to passers-by. Does anyone know if they are frequently taken, or do people generally leave them be?

:D Good point.

Actually, if they get nicked, they get nicked. As long as they don't damage the paint work getting them off. Lot cheaper to replace the insignia then getting a respray!

I think I'm up for these........<disappears to Midas>

I must say that I think mine look pretty good - what colour is your car mate?

Pink!

Oh, alright then. It's Desert Quartz. :)

Just getting finance approval from the bank manager (wife) and then I'm there.

They easy to fit? Do they just prise off (I am totally clueless on this stuff, sorry).

As my car's having it's rear end sorted for impact damage, when I had it being looked over by Jem, I was asked if I wanted Black Pearl emblems, partic as I'mn having black chrome rear lights put on.

If you hunt around the Midas site, they do a hyper-black/anthracite colour which according to the bodyshop guy look really classy, especially on lighter cars like my Platinum Altezza - though it's hard to see the shinyness on their site - they have a pic of Soarer emblems. Might do that with my new emblems when the come... better check my gold discount! :D

When I had mine done - the guy removed the silver ones from the car and electro-plated them, and then put them back on - I'm guessing that's what you get from Midas too.

As the guys have said, you might want to have a look at he black ones before you make up your mind - gold on Desert Quartz might not show up too well??
