Exhausts!

alright just wondering is the exhaust on the is200 the same as the altezza because iv been lookin at some.

like the hks silent power and the one on prolex uk.

i think they r different but just checking

are they "idenical" or just the same fitment ?

i ask cos i want a chrome tail pipe for my alttezza :):)

and i cant find one that fits over and 80mm pipe !

and i see that lexus do one for the is200

if you have a 4 cylinder Tezza "mine" will be a bit noiser than on a 6 cylinder.

i have got the 3s ge engine !

i like the sound of the standard exhaust but just dont like the dull exit pipe !

want it nice and shiney !

Janspeed is quieter and more OEM looking

Kazama 2 is jap stlye with big tail pipe and noisier

I'd say no diff in power gains TBH

I had a kazama on mine, for 2 days. It was obsenely loud. Nicely made exhaust, but your brave if you want to have something that loud.

as CAT BACK on these cars is from the rear axle to the exhaust tip.... ;)

Quick question, so if a IS200 catback system can bolt straight onto a altezza, would a IS300 catback system also bolt on?

I understand that the exhaust manifolds would be different etc but i suppose from cat backwards would be the same.

Just wondering??
