O.k so i am just about to get a new spoiler and fit it, How hard can it be  lol then you remember that you know nothing about electrics and the spoiler has a brake light built in..lol, I hoped it would be just a case of splicing the wires into the main rear brake light wires  But then a freind of mine said that it may well make one of the rear brake lights dimmer than the other....

Help!!!!!!!

does anybody out there have any ideas

Thanks

jac

Yeah,

Ditto for me jac as well.

I chucked a high-level brake jobby on our Shogun last year, splicing into one of the existing brake light feeds.

Didn't make any difference to original light etc.

My Civic has a boot spoiler with an LED brake light. I noticed after fitting it, that the left brake light and spoiler brake light come on first, followed by the right hand one a couple of hundreths of a second later. Only noticed it one day after I painted my garage door white and was reversing down the drive :excl:

The LED's in the spoiler light are really really bright. Often see people at behind putting on their sunglasses at night :yahoo:

The wires you are looking for will be attached to a plug that has nothing going into it. One is live, One is earth. Its there as part of the loom for the factory fitted high Level brake light. :)
