Fueling

What fuel should I put in my new Aristo. It is running stock at the moment and I don't know what fuel the previous owner ran it on. If it ran on 95RON can I just fill my tank up with BP 97RON without draining the fuel tank. I'd use shell but I have fallen out with my local garage because they are nobs. BP are great.

Octane booster? Shall I need this when running BPU but not use running a stock motor?

Please help as I need to know before Saturday the 20th

Thanks

It'll run on 95 but will lose performance as the ECU will just pull timing.

Use any super unleaded for best results.

Octane boosters brought from your motorist center are useless, if you want to increase your octane rating, then add some neat toulene (cant remember quantities at this time of night), but super unleaded will run fine on any tune level.

i remember taht a consumer mag or 5th Gear did some test to find out if these booter fuels made any diff to the proformance of the car.. your Shell V-power and Bp's stuff and Conclusion was not a bit just that they gave a lot less mpg and required more fill-ups thats all.

might be wrong if so stand correct but i never bother with the stuff.
