2000 Rx 300 Question

We bought this car without a cd player, but I noticed that the car does have a cd player in the dash but it's not activated or disabled. Is there a way to enable it? If anyone has any ideas about this please let me know. There must be a way to activate it. When we press the cd button it doesn't do anything so if there is a way to "hack" this car any help would be appreciated.

The standard cd player is an indash cd changer which you can find inside the glove compartment. On my 2002 rx-300 the changer is preinstalled, so i just insert the cd magazine, click on the cd button and the music will play. I don't know if the 2000 model has the same set up.

Unfortunately it's not the same. We actually had to inquire about a cd player. The weird thing is that there is a cd button by the radio but no cd player. Someone has to know.
