Link doesn't work but I actually quite like that........is it as simple as just taking the insides out of the normal key and stick it in there? (obviously also getting the key cut)

I asked a while whether it would be possible to build a flip key for the IS200, well here's my answer...

...Like DJ Wozza says, how well strong/sturdy is it compared to the standard key?

My father-in-laws Polo has one like this, its quite cool, but its quite bulky, ok you save a little in overal length when its folded away, but only a cm or so, and its other dimensions make it fatter and therefore more of a 'pocket annoyance' than the quite flat standard fobs are. Its almost like carrying a 2nd mobile.

i've not been able to log into my paypal today but will be using my brothers account when i get home to buy one. it say's in the listing that it is as simple as swaping over the gubbings of your existing key then get the blade cut. im not sure what the cost is for this but hopefully wont be too expensive.

You're actually probably right on this one - except for the fact that the blade is folded and can't jab at things, it does look quite large. If you look at the section in the middle where the key innards would sit, and then how much is in front and behind it, this thing actually looks larger than the original key!
