im currantly looking @ a is200 sport. i am wondering if you could get hold of a toyota altezza indicator colm as there indicator stock is on the right hand side of the steeringwheel as its a jap motor, im wondering if you could put that in a uk spec car?? i ask as im dissabled in my left arm/hand and need the indicators on the right

yes you can, you will have to jiggle the loom a bit to swap them around at the steering column, but they are a direct fit.

i think i actually have some altezza stalks somewhere

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I am trying to perform a similar conversion on my IS200.

I managed to get hold of the indicator/wiper stalk assembly from an Altezza, as shown in the picture below:

I was wondering if I could just detach the indicator and wiper stalk modules and swap them over, or would I also have to use the Altezza's centre "mounting frame" as well?

The indicator and wiper stalk modules are just held by two screws onto the mounting frame, as shown below:

Reusing the existing mounting frame on my car means that I won't have to remove the steering wheel, and thus makes the conversion a lot more straight-forward.

So the question is, do I have to use the Altezza's mounting frame or can I just slot the new stalk modules into my existing frame? Any advice is very much appreciated, and thank you for your time! B)
