Boot Tool Kit Odd Item

Hi,

I accessed the boot tool kit for the first time at the weekend (to use the jack to paint the calipers :) ).

There was one item in the tool kit that I couldn't work out what it was for. It was a two black hinged plates that separated to about 60 degrees, to allow a third plate to drop down and form a triangle. The plates are about 2" x 3".

What's it for

Guys if it is what I believe...when it's open it looks like a triangle.

It's to be located on one of the other three tires that is not lifted to hold the car in place, in order for the car to be stable and not move forward or in other cases backwards.

I'll have to check mine tomorrow. But having come from a previous car with one wheel chock provided you are meant to put it diagonally opposite the wheel you are lifting.
