Is 200 Sport (1999) Cd Player

I hope someone can help.

I have a 99 IS 200 Sport and the CD player has packed up, it’s got a message displaying ERR 3.

I’ve been informed that the mechanism has gone and needs to be replaced. So it would possibly be better and certainly cheaper to replace the whole CD player itself.

I recall someone on the forum was offering me one before, but I can’t seem to remember who it was. The reason I didn’t take that person up on their offer previously was because my CD player started working again and as I couldn’t remember who was offering me the CD player I couldn’t get back to them.

Anyway, I’m now in a position to go ahead and buy one (provided the price is right) so your help would be very much appreciated.

Why not search your old posts and see if you can find it?

Best bet though is to get a by pass lead and put in an aftermarket stereo.

Do the later (CD at top) units fit the early models?

If so i will be selling mine a a few weeks when ive fitted my new H/U.

Sorry but they dont interchange.

The only way you can swap out is to get another with exactly the same

number by the cassette slot 13901-13906 etc
