2002 Lexus Is300 Clutch Issues I Think?

I have a 2002 Lexus IS300 (Manual Transmission). When I press on the gas the car slips for a little bit and then catches. I have no problems engaging into gear. Just when I press on the gas pedal I can see the RPM's jump and then in catches. Also I get a weird grinding noise when I drive (don't know if this is related to the other issue).

Any Ideas if this is a clutch issue or something else? Please advise!

Sounds like your clutch is on the way out, but have you checked your fluid ?
