My Is350 With Toms Compressor

Recommended Posts

anyone with a MM IS250 ? is it one cd at a time ?

I also have a hard drive.............wtf........what do I do with that ?

Sounds like you have an HDD unit fitted to the auxiliary. My ML MM also has a 60 gig one, but it's an iPod  ...comes up on the screen as a secondary CD drive with the Lexus iPod integration unit. I haven't tried to run an additional drive through the Aux port under the central armrest as well as the iPod which is now in the glovebox.

The onboard disc changer is a six slot for DVD or CD. The Nav unit runs off a separate DVD unit, not a hard drive, and all you should need is to get the latest European DVD to stop it talking Japanese. Dave.. PM your email address and I'll scan and send the disc removal instructions.

Dave...My assumption as usual seems to be completely wrong, it looks like the domestic Jap model runs the Satnav off a hard drive, so a disc changeout isn't possible. Sounds as if the whole unit would need to be changed for the European version...or do without the satnav. See this link for the guy who has imported a Jap IS350 into New Zealand... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...ic=46244&hl=

It's also got the links to the screen controls that you need to overcome the language problem... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...ost&id=3771

Does she still have the JDM limit on her?

TOM's also remap the OEM ECU so there are no piggy backs all OEM style :winky:
