same here , just after xmas, tax is up 2 choices ....................sorn it and use the works van untill march or just pay for 6months to help out next year,,,,,,,,,,,,,oh and the MOT is up :(

The IS200 Wont be 400 for the next couple of years anyway. It was going to be untill the pre budget report in Nov when the government shelved the plans to put it up. Only cars reg after 16/03/06 will be hit.

23 March 2006 is the key date to remember. That was the date of the budget that year when the unfair/illogical/stupid/iniquitious/market distorting VED system came in.

Suspected this to be the case. Peaves me off, why should people with older cars be punished financially. The engine in a pre march car is the same.It throws out the same amount of Co2...

Just robbery, the government are nothing short of scum bags with ties on!

They should re-think this and do it from new cars onwards. Least people have the choice to buy or not knowing the tax price. :tsktsk:
