1/4 Mile Time

Recommended Posts

A few of us have done it in our modded IS' at Santa Pod and Bruntingthorpe. But I don't think anybody actually tried in a standard IS because it would be too slow and with crowds of people watching didn't want to 'embarass themselves with all the other modded cars going down the strip. At the end of the day IMO its all about the fun of it and not necessarily the times you put in. So go for it mate :) There's a few Santa Pod run what you brung coming up soon.

i'd guess 17 or so seconds standard. i'd be happy with 17 in my gs :)

I got 16.6 when I took my GS to santa pod 2 years back, and I wasn't even using that whole powerbraking technique for a fast start! my new accord does it in 14.5 allegedly!

That must be running some serious power then, takes nigh on 200bhp/tonne to get you to the mid to low 14s.
