Vibration When Hi Speed Braking

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows what this issue is, I have a 52 plate is200 sport. When ever I brake at high speed normally 55mph+, although especially noticeable above 60mph. The car seems to vibrate and from the front wheels it feels and I have hold the steering quite tightly. Any other speeds below 55 its fine. I had pads and sics all replaced around 8000 miles ago and I have only noticed this perhaps in the last month. Otherwise use my car regularly and never noticed any issues. Anyone have a clue what it coudl be thanks.

Cheers guys ill get this checked out - I hate it everytime I get a niggle in the car. I suddenly just think of buying a new one instead of getting the issue fixed!

Start off with looking at the discs , get a descent garage to put a runout gauge on them , it will tell if they are warped . Within the process when they jack the motor up they will be able to tell if any of the calipers are sticking .

Hope this helps mate .

Regards

Paul.
