Under what registration prefix was the IS 200 launched in the UK?

(I'm not thinking of transferred reg's, of course)

First ones came out on a "T" plate

No defo T 1999 guys car wasn't released for sale till late 1999

Possibly the S-reg you are talking about was the one in the brochure for the IS200. From memory I think that had a plate starting S.

Maybe a press demonstrator or internal Lexus GB car, so there may be some S plates about, although I haven't physically seen one myself. Effectively if you are buying one they start on a "T"

May be it was a new style plate with the S being Scotland.

I've noticed number plates using SO as their starting location prefix.

Must be a private plate Matt. Mine is really a "Y" with a private "V" plate. Or if i'm on the way back from JAE, its still got the L.O.C. plates on

My original plate when I got my Altezza was an 'S' plate. Boy it was so B) when I got it and i'd cause some sever rubbernecking on the road as people would look and try to work out what it was :P B)
