used EBC in the past and there c**p :tsktsk: , used standard Mintex and currently on Mintex Xtreme and both been very good.

Dave at Prolex should be able to sort you out with the pads, eBay will have some and your local Autoparts should be able to get them too.

I had greenstuff pads on and found them to be OK braking wise but dusty, changed all to Mintex pads and discs and they are much better all round IMHO.

Am I the only one who has left sorely disappointed by the mintex extreme pads?! I ran than on my (pretty much) stock is200, replaced my old pads with the mintex because I had a squeek on my front right wheel (figured the brakes need replacing). I had the brake pedal tightened at the same time, within 2 months the brake pedal is really long again and the squeek has come back! - does this mean ive worn the pads already? I only drive evenings and weekends and dont really push the car to its limits!!?

I could be wrong - any ideas what the squeek could be when I brake!?

(i bought the pads new from ebay)
