Does anyone know how to change the bulb that illuminates the shifter indicator? My light went out on my 97' ES300 and I am looking for suggestions on how to replace it. I was told to just pry up the faceplate but that does not seem the way to do it as it seems that the faceplate would break. Thanks Chas

You appear to be in the US from your address, so you may find the people on the US Lexus Owners Club ES Forums can help you more. We have a guy named zeta on there, he is our official ES Expert, I'm sure he'll be able to help you out.

not many ES's in this country - was looking at the new model on the Lexus web site last night.

It looks stunning - but is not available in this country :(
