Change Of Battery - Head Unit

Hi Everyone,

I have lurked on the forum for a while now, but finally bought an is200 SE yesterday.

Before I sell my old car, I wan't to change the Battery into my IS200 as that Battery is only 10 days old.

I can't find any mention of any key codes for the stereo in my Lexus manual or any paperwork that came with it and need some help pls.

Does anyone know if there is one for the standard headunit that come in the lexus's? It is a 53 plate model.

If it is a standard Lexus Head Unit, no codes :D

Does your new Battery have the correct type of terminals in the correct places ?

The Lexus one should be 65Ah rating (45Ah on earlier models), so hopefully yours will be higher than this ?

Hi thanks for your quick reply on the key codes.

The Battery in the lexus is a 60AH, 525.

The one in my old car is exactly the same with the terminals in the same position as well. So should be a direct switch.

In your post you say that it should be a 65AH. So the one the lexus has come with is must be incorrect, but doing the job

I'll look at mine later, but am pretty sure it is 65Ah, but mine defo says Toyota not Lexus on it
