How Many Miles Do You Get On The Fuel Empty Red Light?

im in australia so dw bout me using kms haha but 60 miles is like 96kms, i never knew you could get so much out of 10Ls of fuel.

do most of you guys run 98 octane premium?... i dont know wot kinda of fuel you have in the UK though??

Not sure i'd want to push it 60 miles - though the light on my GS comes on with a lot more than 10 litres left - more like 16 or 17 I think.

I believe our fuel is measured the same as yours, ie RON octane numbers rather than US-style MON ratings. Most of us use basic 95 unleaded, though some people swear blind they get better performance and/or economy from the 98 super unleaded fuels. Higher octane fuel is several pence per litre more expensive here though.

yeah i run my is300 on shell v-power which I think is 98 RON octane I get an extre 30 or so miles on a tank of this compared to the standard stuff (95 RON)
