What are the Lexus recommended spark plugs for a 1998 series 3 LS400 and price-wise, the best place to buy them from?

The exact part number slips my mind., I'll have a look tonight when i get home, but when I got mine back in Januaray the best place to get them is eBay USA, even with the shipping they were still considerably cheaper than any price I could find find in the UK.

Thanks for the info guys. Rockauto look good on prices......however

I need to know the correct plugs for my 98 LS so I can order the right ones (they have a few to choose from!)?

if you start from the rockauto home page you put all your car info in and it brings up a chioce of about 20 plugs for your car. you need iridium(something like that!) or platinum. i went for the bosch ones which were $1.66 at the time(£2.67 now!) and they are fine. it still works out half price if you go for the denso ones but then with p+p and import its not a great saving.

depends if you want to save cash and aren't fussy about original replacement parts.

$66 for denso delivered which is about £35. plus a bit of import duty.

still a good price

it's possible to get around the import duty by asking the supplier to mark the parcel as 'a gift' and declaring the value at under $50

Nice one. That explains why every 60,000 or 6 years, you get a big bill from Lexus.

Hence the reason I'm trying to find out what the correct plugs are :whistling:

For the 98+ MkIV LS400 with VVTi the OEM plugs are Denso Iridium SK20R11

Many thanks indeed GF, very much appreciated.

Apologies for late reply fella.

I confirm Denso iridium SK20R11. Ordered them here a month ago:

They ship with US Postal and you have an online tracking on where the parcel is right now.
