Finally Got It

At long last i finally picked up my car tonight at 6pm

IS220d SE MM Sunroof, Full leather in caxton slate 55 plate with 18k on the clock

I am like a dog with two Dicks

so much to play with on the MM system and the seats are so comfy i could fall asleep ha ha

I have been waiting nearly 4 weeks with the DVLA messing around over swaping my plate over

I will give a good run to work tomorrow see what it starts to return in MPG

as it was in at lexus on tuesday having the 5th injector mod and the ECU upgrade

This is my first Diesel and yes i know there are a load of you that are not happy with the MPG

but compared to my IS200 this will be like driving a 1.6L petrol

If i get 40mpg i will be happy as the IS200 was returning me 27MPG

Glad i got it just before the Bank hols

and up again at 5.30

Sure you enjoy it, it gives a feel good factor. Had mine now for eight months and love it averaging circa 40 mpg traveling to work but not much more on a long run. It is also my first diesel the rising cost at the pumps is a pain, that is our leaders for you. Merv

Drove to Work today started on average miles per gallon at 19 and thought gawd

but by the time i got to work that was already at 30 and now back home at 35

so it is getting to what i want it to do for me

Also as i said it went back to Lexus for ECU update and 5th Injector mod

but i was playing with the cruise control and at 60 i had it in 6th gear, and the revs were at 1500

and it was going fine.
