Has anyone lowered their 220d? If so what size drop have you gone for? What springs have you used? What is the ride quality like? Do you have any pics?

I lowered mine by 30mm, springs only and to be honest I wouldn't recommend it as in my opinion it spoiled the ride quality. I only did it because I think it sits too high oem and when I put 18" wheels on it needed it. The springs cost less than £100 and I did the work myself.

To be honest that drop doesnt look that much different but i guess different wheel sizes affect that and if that picture was taken just after work was done then the dampers and springs wont have been ran in yet (they sink a little more after a bit of driving around). Still looks very good though. Lovely wheels, suit the car perfectly.

Did you lowered it on OEM sport springs or F-sport springs? It looks like same height as my stock 250 sport with 18"

same question to be honest? what springs was your car lowered on. juts put 18's on mine and it needs a 1" drop for definate.

Hello. My contribution to the topic.

To lower this car is absolutely necessary, as it was for the old IS200 benzin.

I did with EIBACH Prokit springs. The behaviour of the car is much much better in any sense to the stock suspensions. Lowering is 3 cm front and rear both.

The car is much more driveable, and also much more confortable. I run it with aftermarket 18" wheels, except in winter when i use stock 17" wheels with winter tyres.

About camber: not changeable, to do this u need to buy the complete EIBACH Kit, but to much expensive. Anyway the variation of this vertical angle is soo little that, in my opinion, not intelligent to spend that money.
