Which Photoshop

i have adobe photoshop album starter edition 3.2,and i want to learn how to use it so i can modify pictures of my car and stuff .can someone point me in the right direction as to which photoshop programme i should be using

You don't need anything more than the latest edition of Elements. Any of the CS software is waaaaaay more than you'll need and much more complicated. To be fair it doesn't even need to the the latest edition of elements, anyone will do for that kind of thing.

i use ver 7 which is wayyyyyyyy old but more than adequate for image manipulation.

Adobe Photoshop is the DB's....and your halfway to genius if you can use it to its full capability.

i am with keith i always use elements 6 i have all the cs stuff and never use it elements does every thing

I quite like using PAINT.NET, its really good and its FREE :D

There is GIMP which is a free software for both Linux and Windows. It has almost the same functionnalities as Photoshop 7

to be honest CS3 is the best.. although its semi complicated at first.. it does a damn fine job.. and can also do wonderful things with RAW format files
