Upgrading To Is250

after deciding not to part with my is200 for the new vw scirroco, ive looked into getting an 08 is250 sport auto and part exchanging my lex.

the deal my local lexus dealers offered me is a joke

£25995 reduced to £25500 and £6000 for my lex

my lex is an 04 limited edition and has done 40000 miles and the is250 is an 08 has done 3500 miles and has the bodykit and upgraded alloys a mm package.

i know its a good price for the is250 but with the new facelift model coming out id thought theyd be offering a better deal than they have

im just gutted that they didnt offer me a better deal im gonna contact them in the next few days and see if they can make me a better offer.

i know you need to push and that they want to sell you the car but how far can you go

so if anyone has any tips and tricks id be very grateful

I have the same problem, I have a 53 is200 with 45000 miles and aero pack 2 and was offered £5000 but managed to push him to £5500.

it was a 07 is250se auto 9000 miles I looked at for £18495, nice car but no chance!

tried quite a few garages and it seems thats all my car is worth, but good luck and hope you find a deal that you are happy with, don't think I will.

I don't think that's a good price for the IS250. A brand new IS250 SE +MM WhatCar target price is £25891. With the added bonus you'd be the first and only owner therefore helping resale values.

I changed my Y REG IS 200 sport with aero pack last October it had 47000 miles on it, for an IS 250 SE multi media and sun roof 56 plate. They offered me £6000 but managed to push them to £7000 in the end. The IS 250 was £22500 so dont think I got a bad deal.

thats what I have been looking for and just missed a cracking deal for a 07 is250se mm for £17295, was offered £5000 for my own.
