Took The Car In For Its Mot

and it passed!!! No advisories issued. My car is now 8 years old with 113k on the clock. At this age/mileage I thought I would be replacing items such as shockers, track rod ends etc.

Yep same as mine. 123k on a 2000 Wreg Sport - sailed through it's MOT last week no problems at all!

"54" plate, 22366 miles and mine passed too - as it should have done. It came back fully valetted too, so full marks to Lexus Derby (as usual!).

How often will you have to go?

Here In Spain first time when the car has four years old, then every two years until the car it's 10 years old then every year.

Called I.T.V. (vehicle technical inspection) and cost about 40€.

In the UK, the MOT is when the car is three years old, and then every year after that.

I took mine for an mot 2 weeks ago its a V 99 with 64,000 miles. It passed no prob at all Mot guy even said how good the car was

I just had my MOT done too on my '99 SE auto and it passed though it did get a few advisory notes:

corrosion on both front shocks, corrosion on the fuel filler hose and the exhaust is also corroded and leaking alittle exhaust gas... strange that considering it passed anyway...

still, at least i have an excuse to uprate the suspension and exhaust in a few months time... :-)
