Hid Fog Lights

Just like to know if anyone has put HID for fog lights?i am planning to put one in and if any one know how much to install since i dont have tools if im going to put it in. thanks ( going to have a slim line 35watts 5k already have 55watts 8kfor headlights)

i hate cars with Xenon in the fogs.when the road is wet,it blends a lot.

I find that my fog lights don't really do anything in the fog. What do you do, do you turn off your dipped beams and just drive on sidelights and the fogs ? Otherwise I can't see the point, potentially your dipped beams still reflect off the fog, the fog lights don't really add anything.

Genuine question, by the way, I have never really understood how front fog lights are any benefit in the fog.

iirc the theory behind foglights is it projects a wide angled beam underneath the fog illuminating the edges of the road to give you direction.

I agree they are worthless and I've never used mine

I think the IS300 has yellow fogs doesn't it? So they can't be illegal.......

yeah the 300 does have yellow fogs i still dont know if i like them or not, but the yellow fogs seemed to be common on french cars back in the early 90's (renaults peugeots) if i remember rightly?
