Ive found out that theres a belt, a tensioner and 2 idlers. Do all these need to be changed as my local toyota dealer said only one idler needed to be changed and Fensport said just the belt and tensioner bearings.

Ive been quoted £283 for everything including the waterpump. All genuine parts. Without the waterpump and 2nd idler it drops to £155.

The car has only done 60,000 miles so I cant see the waterpump needing changing.

In your engine (3s-ge) you should better change whaterpump with timing belt. Because in future if your whaterpupm will broke, you will disassemble all parts which you should disassemble when you change belt. So you will pay twice.

As im going to keep the car until i drive it into the ground ive decided to do the lot. Heres what you need if anyone is interested.

Timing Belt (13568-80015)

Tensioner (13540-88570)

Idler 1 (13505-88570)

Idler 2 (13503-88560)

Alternator Belt (99364-30780)

A/C Belt (99364-31220)

Waterpump (16100-79225)

and coolant but that can come from anywhere. For all genuine parts you are looking at around £316 plus fitting.
