Hi, can anyone tell me what type of Automatic Transmission fluid should I use to top up the level in my gs300 3.0 v.6., and does it matter if it does`nt match the fluid type already in the gearbox. Thanks......

hmm if i remember its toyota type 4 and if you are going to do it drain the box and refill it you'll thank yourself for it later. don't go and get any tranny fluid it can cause big issues. Also don't want to be a c*ck about it but theres tons about this on the forums worth searching may be more info there ;)

This may appear a daft question but are you positive it needs topping up?
