has anyone wet/dry the headlamp plastic to get rid of the chips/scratches ??? what grit paper did you use ??

Sorry no, but I would recommend putting lamin - x on, at least, your front fogs to help avoid damage. It's not expensive from their website LaminX.co.uk. Best of luck.

1200 grade wet n dry with soapy water for your lenses. then polish with tcut and wet rag.i used a sponge polishing mop on my drill to polish back.be carefull to keep the mop movingaround the lens to avoid burning.use water to stop tcut drying to quickly.bit messy job but look like new when finnished.

i used t.cut. cleaned 3 times with t.cut ( not just a wipe on wipe off though ), then polished and was a big difference and they stay cleaner. didnt get rid of a few big chips but a great improvement and they now have a new look shine :)
