Is200 Speedo Cluster Help

Hi All,

Just a quick one really if those of you with IS200's could spare just 2 minutes of your time???

I'm still trying to find out what speedo clusters where introduced in what years and if people can post up what speedo cluster they have and what year their car was made in that would help me out alot.

The speedo code can be found on the very front of your speedo unit (eg mine is a XE-01 and is a 2000 model).

I am lead to believe that the XE-02 is the foreign model pre 2001 and i have also just bought a XE-03-a but not too sure of what year it was from???

These are the km/h only clusters:

1999, 2000, 2001: XE 02

2002, 2003: XE 04

2004, 2005: I’m not sure, but it’s third one.

Mines XE01 aswell. Mid 2001 ie on a Y reg.

Looks like it might be as follows then:

XE-01/XE-02 (KM/H Version) 1999, 2000, early 2001

XE-03(A)/XE-04 (KM/H Version) late 2001 and onwards

Think the XE-03A might be the version with the silver surround and the XE-03 is just the standard version???
