Hi

I need to remove my front door card to replace a mirror,do I need to disconnect the Battery because of the airbag.

On my merc you had to do this because you could set the airbag off with the chance of serious injury.

Hope you don't mind me putting it on the is200 section only there is not much response from the GS300 forum I assume the procedure will be the same as they have door airbag as well

Thanks

Norman

I don't know the GS Door Panel, but the airbag on the IS200 is in th side of the seat, and not in the Door Panel,

so no wories there at all. Does the GS300 have airbags in the doors ?

Cheers buddy the joys of no workshop manual so I don't know.

Check where it says "SRS Airbag". Mercs have this on the door card, so you know it's there. In the IS it's on the side of the seat, and I'd assume it was the same for the GS but you never know unless you check :)
