Problem With Electric Closing Side Mirrors

Hello,

Bit of a problem i was hoping someone could point me into the right direction,

My side mirrors will not close fully or open fully with a single press of the button. I got to repeat pressing the button till there close.

No idea whats wrong thought maybe lack of Battery power but everything elese works fine

any help??

They may be sticking slightly due to gunk and grime in the hinge. Try giving it a spray out with a pressure washer.

I'd suggest after the washer a good spray with WD40 to get the water out again !

yep mine are the same PITA. I will try the WD40 though.

excellent hopefully its something as simple, hopefully it will fix it, whats strange, is that its happening with both as the same time, i will try the pressher washer tomorrow then wd40 and see if that does the job.

the other week snow and ice did not stop them opening and closing !
