News has emerged that a new Lexus - the HS 250h is being previewed at the Detriot Motor Show. There's no pictures of it I don't think except for some spy pictures which turned out to be Buick LaCrosse's!

It's supposed to be inbetween the IS and the GS, which makes me wonder if it'll be something like that not-very-nice Lexus ES they make. If that's the case it might not come to the UK.

Anyone got any more news? It sounds like the 2.5V6 engine in hybrid form.

Yes from what I've read, it's a slightly different Toyota Camry, FWD and V6 engine.

To be honest from the pictures I've seen, the interior and exterior don't look much like Lexus to me. The odd thing is I just checked the US web site and the ES is $3000 more than the IS. I'd take the IS any day.

I'd have an IS too. The ES is a fair bit larger - pretty much GS sized but since it's FWD, it doesn't have a transmission tunnel so appears roomier inside.

Actually, I'd have a GS in place of either of them, thinking about it!! :)
