Can I Stop Wing Mirror's Auto Adjusting In Reverse?

I don't like the wing mirrors dipping down automatically whenever I engage reverse gear. I need to reverse through a very narrow garage opening and need the wing mirrors straight so I can see back through them, I cannot see behind when they dip - just see the ground alongside the car!

I can see how dipping mirrors in reverse is handy, especially for parallel parking, etc but I'd rather adjust them manually if I need to. Does anyone know if this "auto-dipping" function can be disabled?

Yes, move the position of the adjuster :) Can't remember whether it needs to be in the middle or one of the sides. Just swap it from where it is now.

Yes the switch needs to be in the centre position.

Thanks to you both - maybe I should read the manual a bit more carefully! Yes, if the switch is in the centre position the mirrors will not tilt.
