i have an is250 and have the mark levinson i would like to know that if the car has a rear sub built in as i have heard this, when i put the fader of the speakers to the rear all i hear is jst normal speakers with no bass however when the fader is put to the front it seems that all the bass only comes from the front of the car? is there a problem with the sound system? thanks

Seems like you do have a problem. The Mark Levinson systems in MM versions have a sub-woofer which is the whole of the rear parcel shelf. Yours may have become disconnected/faulty/no drive from the built-in amp. A really good solid bass from the back is the norm. Take it back to your dealer after you have what I hope is a really good Christmas!

thanks people for the the reply i can see the back subwoofer which has a speaker cover over it on the rear shelf however how can i check if its loose? better yet how can i get to it? i cant take the car back to lexus as the warranty had ran out only last month on the 25th and they said its out of warranty so i am on my own here! i checked the amp and there are no loose connections! really want it to work coz its bugging me! so need some help guys please? thanks
