We had to cut off the cooling plates, since it was too extensive to

remove them on the rear side

Yesterday was christmas day :)

Finally I have received my V160 swap kit, everything is brand new and

ready for install.

Some small modifications have to be done, but we will start soon with the install.

Well, that for I'd like to find some solution

100_0053.JPG

--> My plan is to have just ONE clutch line to from connector to the slave cylinder

OK so far I didn't read the V160-thread on My.IS very well,

then I would have known to order the Supra tranny rubber-bracket

OMG a new V160 was that direct from Toyota ? That must have cost a bloomin boom, will be nice to get away from the auto though, there for wimps LoL

I have received a whole V160 Swap Kit from PHR which fits direct on the IS300,

but I'm not driving the A/T model, mine came from America with the W55 5-speed tranny. ;)

The Crew.... (they don't even have a driving licence *haha*) :P

(those just were some kids hanging around, working on their motocross bikes, helping out a little on race car modifications and stuff)

Our Shop has been in perfect situation

Down there was a professional machine-shop, they can do everything

out of a piece of metal, next to it some supermarket to buy food

We had to widen the upper left hole, to make the bolt fitting

It was much easier to lift it up and put it to the engine than the W55

Differential Installation

some words to it: I have brought it to my Lexus Dealer to install

the Euro spec IS300 A/T final gearing (1:3,58) in my US spec IS300 M/T (1:3,72) diff housing, including measuring and stuff...

It is soooo awsome!!

eurospec_IS300AT_gearing.jpg

The gears of the V160 feeling now like the 5-speed, simply PERFECT GEARING!!

Well the stock 5-speed shifter leather sack couldn't be fittet on

the C's V160 shifter, so I had to do something

before...

100_0161.JPG

I have brought the stock leather sack to some saddler to create some new custom shifter sack fitting on the V160 stick

black with silver seames B)
