U140 D Transmission

Recommended Posts

My 1998 lexus transmission is shot and having spent all day at junk yards and used and new parts stores.

I have only found a transmission with a smaller differential from a Toyota D4 engine which I am told is similar to the 3000CC 1MZ engine in my vehicle.

What can be done to adapt this new transmission to make it fit my vehicle with a larger differential.

I am now trantic for a workable long term solution which wont just lead ti more problems.

Anyone who knows anything workable and practical I am all ears and grateful.
