I want to buy a double din aftermarket stereo, could someone post the walkthrough as i can seem to find it.

I got my fascia and lead together from here. The facia works either with a double-din head unit or single-din (with pocket). Don't think the seller has one up at the moment.

By the way, the walkthrough doesn't specifically show a double-DIN example. But I'm in the process of sorting mine out on the moment. I intend to post up some pics of that to add to the walkthrough, depends how long it takes me I guess as to whether I'll have my pics up in time for you !

The instructions with the fascia show how to use it either for double-DIN or single-DIN.

Trouble with the Toyota fascia is that you lose the heated seat switches, don't you ?

i dont have heated seats but do you lose traction contron and snow mode?

Not if you modify it a bit, which is easy :)

There is already an empty hole where the TRC/snow buttons are supposed to be placed. That means you don't have to modify the facia at all.

You can get it from the nearest Toyota or Lexus dealer.

The part number for the Toyota facia is in the link in my signature.

The only difference between modifying the Autoleads Facia from Single DIN to Double DIN

is purely how you assemble it. The same process is infact easier as there is less to do.

Ive just fitted a double din in mine, i used the the same kit and amp bypass that steve has bought off e.bay.

It was easy with good instructions. The double din is easier to assemble than the single.
