Rs200 Altezza Fault... Plz Help

Hi guys,

Does any know who is currently breaking a Altezza RS200?

I'm after a throttle body for 4 cyl Beams engine.

The throttle body has been diagnosed as faulty... is this a common fault?

I will try cleaning it with carb cleaner. the revs go up and down and then eventually stalls.

Any Help would be much appreciated.

Couple of questions.

What exactly are the symptoms?

Do you have a CEL on and have you had any fault codes read?

How was the throttle body diagnosis made.

From the little said above it does sound like an idle air control problem and cleaning the TB and MAF sensor would be a good place to start plus check for air leaks in the inlet tract.

Replacing the entire TB seems a bit drastic to me.

I was getting a half second pause at 5k rpm, after cleaning my MAF solved the problem.
