Sun Visor Bulbs

Evenin' All :)

One of my bulbs has gone in the sun visor, and i cant for the life of me find out what the bulb is?! anyone shed any light? Its just a small cylinder, 5mm O/D, 30mm long.

I had these in mine matey CLICKY They also do them in blue? i've had quite a few leds/bulbs from this seller and not been let down by any yet, but they do take a few days to arrive as there based in Hong Kong

There a lot brighter than the original ones too matey, and not a bad price B) Think you can get the standard type from places like Halfords but dont see them very often or even the lexus dealers have them if you get stuck :)

Wow, you must have a lady that loves doing her makeup in a moving car LOL. I think you should cello tape some of the xmas cracker strips (the strip that does the bang when it gets pulled) into the visor, so when your passenger pulls the visor down it gives them a fright of their life! lol

well, my next question is where do i get a pink one? i need a his and hers. The blue one in the link above is spot on, but i need a pink one too. anyone know the bulb code?

Dont think i've ever seen pink ones You can get red though if i remember right, but not seen any for a while

You buy a white one and you send off for a free sample set of filters at HERE and pick the filter colour you want from the 250 colours and put the selected filter over the LED.

thats not a bad idea that. a quality street wrapper would also work....

THREAD UPDATE!

Ordered those LEDs from HK, and they came today. This is the final product. Bought 1 blue LED, 1 white LED and a box of quality street for the pink wrappers!

how did you secure the wrapper around the bulb??

out of interest, how do you get to the bulb in the sun visors?? never really looked at them that closely!!

dead easy mate. Fold the wrapper in half and wrap it round the bulb. then put the bulb in so that the end of the wrapper is pressed up against the back of the visor. With the bulbs being LEDs, they wont heat up.

The bulbs are dead easy to get out. use a flat head screw driver under the plastic cover, then the bulb will just pull out.
