Oil Recommendation, Please

Your recommendations for Oil, and viscosity for my 1992 LS400, from everyone's experience, please.

Although she's getting near to 140k with FSH, I like to keep things topped up!

Hi,

I use Texaco Havoline fully synthetic 5w30 at £14.95 for 5 ltrs from Morrisons and a genuine Toyota filter every 6000 miles engine has now done around 52000 miles.

IMHO, Stick with the standard Toyota oil with these cars, along with the genuine filter. Mine is a 1990 and has not used anything other than this. After 170,000, the engine IS like new. Having used many oils and additives over the years in other cars including Mobil 1 and Eneos they all seem to cause more problems than they are worth. They built a masterpiece of an engine and wouldnt stray from their recomendations.
