Im planning ditching my standard head unit as i have the lovely ERR3 message (on the other hand i did get 5 free CD's with my car as they popped straight out ! )

I am going to replace it with an Alpine iDA-X100 digital media player to coincide with my ipod touch

Now i know i will have to get the amp bypass leads and the new fascia to take the single DIN headunit

Will i still get the sound from my built in sat-nav or will it then be a gonner ?

as ill kinda miss her voice if so LOL

Mate,

you want this thread for the nav bypass

follow the link to my.is and the circuit you need to make to keep the nav working is there for the audio to work you either need to instal a small mobile phone car kit speaker like i have or tap into the leads to the fr right speaker.

the amp bypass lead will sort the HU out.
