Sat Nav Address Input By Post Code

I have recently bought RX300 SEL 2004. Can I use Post codes to find destinations on my Sat Nav. I am unable to find this option. I will be very disappointed if it did not have this option. Can I upgrade the software.

I'm sure there was a thread about exactly this a few weeks ago, have a search, but the essence of it is that I don't think the 2004 doesn't have post code entry, and it cannot be upgraded to do so. It was later in the cycle (2005 or 6 I think) that post code entry was added.

Personally it's not something that would bother me as it's not a full postcode search anyway (it's first half plus 1 digit from second half) but I realise some people do prefer it.
