I have obtained an entire replacement passenger side wing mirror for the passenger side but its a different colour to mine so I only want to use the mirror element.

Has anyone an idea how I remove just the mirror? I think the mirror has all of the electrics for the heating etc included on the back (I have seen a picture of one on ebay) and i have seen another post where it says a dealer replaced a unit in a few minutes so i am assuming it must be relatively straightforward :unsure:

yes it is clipped in at the bottom half of the mirror with 2 clips. carefully push the mirror up (so its tilted upwards), then pull the bottom of the mirror out. it should pop off and then slide down and out. the wires are just clipped on becareful as they can go brittle and may break.
