Heated Wing Mirror

Hi Everyone!! Does anyone knows how to safely removed a wing mirror glass on a is200 ?Reason why my N/S heated mirror dosnt work but o/s dos? any clue???

I suppose the element could have burnt out, how old is the car? And if it's one of the pre 01 cars isn't the mirror heater on all the time? (So could be another cause of premature failure)

Hope it hasn't failed completely though as I think they're quite pricey to replace.

hi its a v.reg sport. and yes the heathed mirror stays on all the time but not the n/s. Would it be cheaper if i get a complete mirror unit from the scrappy?
