Advise On Induction Kits

with de-cat's, pre and main, a decent back box, and a decent *PROVEN* induction kit....you could see 12hp on a N/A car

that's what i meant mat.... i of course agree with all your other points made.... :D

Mat,what if the pipe that runs across the engine was heat wrapped or

fitted with a deflector and maybe a bonnet vent to disperse the heat

would that work thus taking away the work needed on the de-cat's pre,

main...........just an idea?

any heat alowed to escape from the engine bay is a good thing............

wrapping the pipe........possibly, best to use the reflective stuff you can get from Demon Tweeks....(motorsport)

DEA make some i used it on the race car

id still consider doing the cats....every HP released is a HaPpy smile

Mat, if all of the above was done, ind/kit cold air feed

cone filter,heat wrap,deflector and vented bonnet

Would the cutting about on the manifold and cats

and pre cats be expensive and would this have to

be done by specialists :question:

I CANNOT COMMENT ON COSTS.......i did it myself, Andy hart now has my de-catted manifold, i dont think he has fitted it yet.....my main cat i also gave to andy..it was 24 hours old, for him to decat and use ......then fit his normal cat for MOT....again i dont think he fitted that either
