Bumper Protector Bar

I am contemplating fitting this bar to my Lexus, as it is advertised for the RX300 98+ I contacted the sellers and asked if it would also fit a 2005 RX400h as the bodies are the same, OR are they. The seller got back to me saying as far as they are aware it won't as the chassis is different. Does anyone know if this is the case, looking at the fitting images they fit where the towing brackets are bolted so there would be no drilling needed.

Thats typical eBay dopey seller stuff......they clearly show a post '03 Mk2 RX and advertise the bar for the '98-03 Mk1 model.........it could be an inconvenient problem at the very least if it turns out to be the wrong bar!

Try and get more clarification from the seller before comitting.

After asking a couple of Lexus Dealers if it would fit, and getting the reply 'No' I contacted the seller and he agreed that if it didn't he would collect and give me a full refund. Got it delivered and it fitted without a hitch. It justs goes to show the Dealers don't know everything. I have since informed the seller to amend his sales text to include the RX400h which he has. So if someone wants to test it by running into the back of me
